The Spaniard admits it will be a tough game for his side against the Marina Machans.
Jamshedpur FC will have a crucial away encounter on Thursday against Chennaiyin FC. Accordingly, head coach Antonio Iriondo and player Noe Acosta addressed the media personnel ahead of the game. Goalkeeping coach Alfonso Lacaso was also in attendance. To start off, Antonio Iriondo was asked about Sergio Castel’s fitness and whether the striker would be fit to start in the upcoming game. He replied, “Yes, he is feeling good. We gave him 25 minutes in the last match and he was feeling good. His presence was very important for the team so yeah probably, he will play.” [KH_ADWORDS type="3" align="center"][/KH_ADWORDS] Carrying on from that question, the coach was interrogated regarding Piti’s injury concern too. The coach responded, “The medical team is working very hard to get him back as fast as we can. We are aware that the league is very short and now we are at a crucial time, with the most important matches. But we are not sure about when he is going to be ready. Hopefully he will be ready for the next match.” Jamshedpur and Chennaiyin are merely separated by a point. Moreover, this match can potentially turn into a six-pointer considering how closely both the teams are placed currently. Antonio Iriondo was probed whether that brings any extra pressure coming into this game. He stated, “Yeah, it looks pretty clear that there are going to be three teams fighting for the three spots and there is one other team to get in. So, we are there, fighting for that spot with all the injuries that we have had; Piti, Sergio, now Tiri. "Actually from now, every match for us is like a final. So, we are going to keep fighting. This match is another final for us," concluded Antonio Iriondo. Acosta said, “Yeah, they have been in a really good shape in the last two matches but we also have been playing well. Hopefully it is going to be a great match. It is going to be a tough game, like a final for both teams so hopefully we will get a win.”Team News
