The Portuguese was content with the point earned as the Islanders moved to the top of the table.
Sunday night experienced ISL giants Mumbai City FC play out a goalless draw against Chennaiyin FC at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in Chennai. Both the teams created ample chances, but none found a breakthrough. However, the match saw Mumbai City head coach Jorge Costa get a yellow card for indecent behaviour with the officials.
Meanwhile, Souvik Chakrabarti was sent off in the dying moments of the game, which was the other highlight of the goalless affair.

Assessment On The Game
The Mumbai City head coach expressed his thoughts on the game by saying, “We had enough chances to score against Chennaiyin, but unfortunately there was no goal. Irrespective of the result, it was a difficult game for us, our second game away from home and second game in less than three days. We fought throughout the game and four points in two games is not bad.”
Being On Top Of Points Table
The Portuguese tactician went on to add, “This is a good start for us. Picking up four points before the series of home games and unlike last year, we had one point in the first few away games. We are now ready for the home games coming up.”
