The 51-year-old also revealed that he has followed his side's opponents this season and knows how they will play.

Ahead of the Highlanders' next league fixture against Hyderabad FC on Wednesday, NorthEast United head coach Robert Jarni spoke to the media in Guwahati on Sunday afternoon. The game will be The Highlanders’ first away match after a run of two home games which resulted in a win against Odisha FC and a draw against FC Goa thanks to a last minute equalizer by Manvir Singh.

“We saw their two games and we know how they are going to play. They win their last game and they gained some confidence and we have to prepare for them," Robert Jarni began.

"They looked yesterday under a little pressure but they managed to score two goals and they won the game and also for us we are confident, we play against the big teams in the league.  It will be another tough match. We try to win every game and Wednesday will be the same,” the Croatian added.

Robert Jarni also delivered positive news regarding Kai Heering’s injury as he quipped, “As we know now, Kai should be fine for the game.”

NorthEast United have already played the two finalists of last season and drawn against both of them. Speaking about that, Robert Jarni thinks the confidence gained by playing Bengaluru FC and FC Goa will be good for his team.

“Yes the people always say they are the strongest team in the league so we play very good against them and it is good for us because we get confidence when you play against the big teams and get good results. Every game is different and every game is difficult to win no matter what and to gain more confidence will be good for our game,” he said.

NorthEast United face Hyderabad FC on the November 6 at 7:30 PM IST.
