It was a tight affair at the Gachibowli Stadium and there were a few rather disappointing performances from the Indian players.
In the game Hyderabad Vs NorthEast United, the visitors came out winning 0-1 in their Indian Super League clash at the G.M.C. Balayogi Stadium. Both sides had some chances throughout the game, but they failed to make them count. However, a late penalty conceded by Hyderabad FC defender Shankar Sampingraj saw substitute Maximiliano Barreiro score the solitary goal for NorthEast United from the spot. Here are the Indian player ratings from the match:Hyderabad FC
Kamaljit Singh- 6.0 The Hyderabad FC skipper wasn't called into action often, but he did enough to deny a few shots here and there. However, he was helpless during the penalty and went the wrong way. Gurtej Singh- 5.5 The experienced defender looked a bit shaky, as he went in for some reckless tackles breaking the rhythm of his team's play in the first half. He gradually got into the game, but was caught ball watching at times. Shankar Sampingraj- 6.5 From the time the Indian midfielder was slotted into the middle of the three-man backline, Hyderabad have gained some sort of stability in their defence. He was excellent against Kerala Blasters and was almost flawless yet again. But, a late unfortunate handball saw him turn from hero to villain, as the visitors scored from the subsequent penalty. [KH_ADWORDS type="3" align="center"][/KH_ADWORDS] Nikhil Poojary- 6.0 The India international worked hard and often dropped deep to support his backline. He also ventured forward to aid Halder in tight situations. However, Phil Brown would want more out of the winger, if his team are to win tight games. Rohit Kumar- 6.0 The young midfielder has shown his credentials earlier and he had a decent outing partnering Marko Stankovic in midfield. However, the youngster lacks creativity which is an area he needs to work on. Mohammed Yasir- 7.0 The wing-back was industrious, as he balanced both departments really well. The Hyderabad youngster's darting overlapping runs often caught the NorthEast United defenders off guard and created problems for the visitors. Ghani Ahmed- 6.0 The former Gokulam Kerala player slotted in for Robin Singh in a front three for Hyderabad and looked confident in his stride, as he had a decent game and combined well with his fellow forwards. He was subbed off in the 70th minute. Abhishek Halder- 6.5 The young forward did put in those hard yards and complemented Marcelinho with aplomb. Blessed with pace and trickery, Halder created a few opening with his mazy runs.Substitutions
Sahil Panwar- 5.5 The young defender replaced Ghani Ahmed at the 70th minute, as Phil Brown was looking satisfied with a point. His stupendous block to keep out Redeem's header kept his side in the game late on.Northeast United
Subhashish Roy Chowdhury - 6.5 The veteran goalkeeper was called into action early in the game. He came up with a great save, diving to his left to deny Marcelinho. He kept out everything that came his way and marshalled his backline really well. Reagan Singh- 6.5 Reagan struggled defensively, but he was decent venturing forward. He was kept on his toes with Yasir and Ghani pairing up on the left flank in the first half. However, in the second, Reagan broke the shackles and got ahead, drilled in a few dangerous crosses. Rakesh Pradhan- 5.5 The former Shillong Lajong defender had a busy night coming up against Abhishek Halder and Marcelinho. It was a delight to watch young Indian players fighting it out for the ball. However, Rakesh was never allowed to settle into the game. Milan Singh- 6.0 He struggled to stamp his authority on the game early on, with players like Stankovic and Rohit dominating the midfield. However, the 26-year-old got going in the second half, breaking up play and recycling possession. [KH_RELATED_NEWS title="Related News | Article Continues Below"][/KH_RELATED_NEWS] Redeem Tlang- 6.5 Probably the most improved Indian player this season, Redeem once again haunted Hyderabad with his movements. The 24-year old winger got into the pockets of space near the final third and latched on to every chance he had. Nikhil Kadam- 5.0 Nikhil was not at par with his compatriot, as he did not have that panache in attack and lost possession time and again. A lot more is expected from the left winger, as it seems he had an off day at the office.Substitutions
Wayne Vaz- 5.5 Slotted into central defence beside Kai Heerings after replacing Mislav Komorski in the second half. Did his job well, as he held his line. However, his lack of maturity saw him indulge in a verbal quarrel, which earned him a needless booking.Latest News
