Antonio Iriondo: I am not happy with the performance against Bengaluru

The club from Jharkhand sit at the top of the table.
Jamshedpur FC drew blanks in their game against Bengaluru FC tonight. Subrata Paul's performance for Jamshedpur helped the hosts reach a goalless stalemate. However, gaffer Antonio Iriondo was unhappy with the turn of today's events.
"I am not happy with the performance of today at all. We had our phases. We played a little bit better but in the other phases, we played really bad. Especially, in passing, we made a lot of unforced errors and couldn't keep the ball with us which made us lose control of the game."
[KH_ADWORDS type="3" align="center"][/KH_ADWORDS]The Spaniard admitted that the team needs to learn to play under pressure and improve their psychological phase apart from their technical aspect as well.
"We will have to figure out this after the analysis of the match. Sometimes players with too much pressure aren't able to give their best performance."

"Players who could handle the pressure played good. Our game isn't only a tactical situation but also the psychological situation. We will work with players to overcome this phase," the Spaniard added.
Need to fix the defence
When questioned about the loose defence in the team apart from a mediocre pass-play, Antonio admitted towards the faults in the team and was ready to face it for improving the game.
"In a match like this our defence wasn't top-notch and we need to work on it. Our goalkeeper had a great game. It's a part of his job and that's why we were able to keep a clean sheet. The match can be divided into two parts. We played better than them in the first half and in the second half they played better than us."
"We had our chances and we missed them. Their goalkeeper had a good game as well. The most notable one would be the bicycle kick from Farukh saved from 12 yards," the boss said.
[KH_RELATED_NEWS title="Related News | ARTICLE CONTINUES BELOW"][/KH_RELATED_NEWS]Overall, the gaffer admitted that the Bengaluru side is a tough nut and matches against the defending champions are always bound to be hard.
"This match was hard, especially against the defending champions. Sometimes we have the ball and sometimes they have the ball," Antonio Iriondo concluded.
Jamshedpur FC have their next game on 9th November against ATK in Kolkata.
