The Spaniard was quite impressed with the way his team performed on the night and hopes for more such results.

Jamshedpur FC have got off to a thunderous beginning in the new Indian Super League season, winning two home games back-to-back!  They defeated Hyderabad FC 3-1 this time around. Antonio Iriondo was jubilant in the post-match press conference, but stoically answered the questions and made a fair assessment of the game.

On scoring more goals and missed opportunities the tactician said, “Yes, we have tried to score the goals. We have kept going and kept making the situations to score; that is how we win.”

He then went on to elaborate about how he is looking on the bright side of things saying, “We try not to miss the opportunities, but these things happen. Even Messi misses chances. We are playing good and we are making chances.”

The questions then shifted to CK Vineeth, the Kerala talisman who has been a star performer over the course of the ISL. On the striker's fitness, Antonio Iriondo said, “At this time we are not sure. We are talking to the doctors about getting him ready, but at this time are not sure.”

In all humility, he then went on to comment on the positives he saw in the game, saying, “I am happy with the match because we played better than the last game.”

Shedding light on the drawbacks he said, “We will be talking to the team about the concentration and in the next match we hope to be better.”

Jamshedpur FC face ATK next and will look to make it three in three, as they face a marauding unit of players who have already slotted five past one opponent.
