The decisions pertaining to the new entity's logo, jersey and club name will be taken on July 10.

BCCI President and former Indian Cricket Team captain Sourav Ganguly has been included in the list of Board of Directors for merged Indian Super League outfit ATK-Mohun Bagan.

ATK chairman Sanjeev Goenka reached an agreement with Mohun Bagan management which meant that the businessman would take up 80% majority stake at the century-old club, which eventually resulted in the two clubs getting merged.

The much controversial decisions on jersey, logo and club name will be decided on July 10 when the board will hold their first meeting ahead of the new season.

Assuring Ganguly's move to the panel, co-owner and another member of the Board, Utsav Parekh, told PTI, "Sourav Ganguly is one of the owners and 100% eligible to become a director. We will meet on July 10 for the first time to finalise our name, jersey and logo."

The merged entity got registered under the Ministry of Corporate Affairs last month where ATK-Mohun Bagan Private Limited was represented by five members, ATK co-owner Utsav Parekh, Mohun Bagan officials Debashish Dutta and Srinjoy Bose with two more members, Gautam Ray and Sanjeev Mehra.

"It was just a formality, a paperwork to start the venture officially. Even (team principal owner) Sanjeev Goenka was not a part of the Board back then. We have inducted him along with Sourav Ganguly," Parekh added on Sunday.

Ahead of the merger, ATK won their third ISL title while Mohun Bagan reigned supreme by winning their second I-League title last season.
