Kolkata outfit ATK Mohun Bagan have signed Bradden Inman for an undisclosed transfer fee, as announced by his previous club Brisbane Roar FC.

Inman, who primarily plays as a central midfielder last plied his trade for the outfit in the recently-concluded A-League. He notched four goals and six assists in 24 games, as the Brisbane side’s campaign came to an end in the elimination final against Western United.

The Adelaide-bornplayer is a Newcastle academy graduate and he has represented Scotland at the youth level. However, he failed to make any appearance for the senior side at the club level or for the Scotland national team.

The 28-year-old has played for a number of sides in the third division of English football, which include Crewe Alexandra, Peterborough and Rochdale starting from 2012 to 2019. He notched up 48 goals and delivered 42 assists during his time in England.

Bradden Inman will now be the third A-League star to have signed for ATK Mohun Bagan in recent years after strikers David Williams and Roy Krishna. There’s no doubt that Antonio Lopez Habas was looking for a midfielder for a very long time.

The seventh edition of the ISL which is set to take place in Goa will see a change in rule, where all the clubs need to register at least one player from the Asian Football Confederations (AFC) member nations. However, with the signing of Inman, Antonio Lopez Habas' side will have two players from the AFC member nations along with Williams.

Earlier today, Bradden Inman sent a goodbye message to Brisbane fans which reads, "I would like to say thank you to all the players and staff. It was a unique season, there were plenty of great moments as well as some tough ones, but what a great bunch of lads this team has and I’m going to miss you all!"
