The defeat ended the Blues' chances of finishing in the top four.
Bengaluru FC bowed out of the Indian Super League playoffs race with a 2-0 loss against ATK Mohun Bagan. With this, it's the second season in a row that the Blues haven't been able to do so. Liston Colaco and Manvir Singh scored for the Mariners in the 47th and 85th minutes respectively to seal a comfortable win.
The victory took ATK Mohun Bagan to one point shy of league leaders Hyderabad FC with two games remaining, while Bengaluru FC's hopes ended with the loss. The Blues, who are on 26 points from 19 points, remain at sixth and will end their campaign in that spot irrespective of the result in their final game. Bagan also remained on third, but now need only one point from their remaining two matches to secure a spot in the playoffs. On that note, here are the player ratings for this game.
ATK Mohun Bagan (by Rajdeep Saha)

Jhingan was one of the best performers, with eight clearances and two interceptions. He also won all four of his aerial duels.

Lara Sharma - 5.0
Despite two good performances before this game, tonight was unfortunately his weakest. Out of the four shots faced, he conceded two. While the first one left him awestruck, the second could've been avoided with a better stretch. In short, not the ideal outing for the 22-year-old.
Roshan Singh - 5.5
Made a brilliant sliding clearance in the 57th minute to intercept Manvir Singh's cross to Liston, that would've put the Mariners two goals ahead by that time.

Alan Costa - 6.0

Was shifted to the centre-back position in this game. Had a decent performance beside Alan Costa, with multiple interceptions, recoveries and a 100% accuracy in tackling and duels.
Ashique Kuruniyan - 6.5
Returned to the starting XI after injury. Was active on the flank with his crosses, runs and interceptions. Throttled upfront on the left and was involved in four crosses and long balls.
Udanta Singh - 5.5
In his 87 minutes played, he had an 73% passing accuracy and a 100% success rate with his dribbles, while also being involved in five duels. Apart from this, he had a chance in the 41st minute via Prince Ibara’s assist, but shot the ball high.
Bruno Ramires - 6.0
Once again, continued his efforts in attack like the last few games, swinging balls into the box as well as taking shots himself from long distances.

Ajay Chhetri - 6.0
Conceded the free-kick that led to Liston Colaco's stunning opener. Apart from that however, he excelled in his passing once again, completing the most in the game (31), until his substitution in the 62nd minute.
Prince Ibara - 5.0
Apart from a heading attempt in the seventh minute from Ashique Kuruniyan's cross, the Congolese forward wasn't really involved in much action. He was also involved in six duels of which he won none.
Sunil Chhetri - 5.0
Had a chance to score in the first half via Cleiton Silva's corner, but headed it off target. Similarly, had another in the 60th minute, but was blocked. In short, the skipper was unable to capitalize on his chances.
