On Wednesday, December 29, Kerala Blasters confirmed the loan deal of Seityasen Singh to fellow-Indian Super League (ISL) side Hyderabad FC.
The Manipuri winger has been a part of KBFC since 2019 and has played 25 matches for the team. The 29-year-old, with more than fifty ISL match appearances, will be joining Hyderabad FC on a short-term loan deal. Recently, Abdul Hakku and Sreekuttan VS were also loaned out by the Yellow Army to Gokulam Kerala for I-League 2021-22.
When asked about Seityasen's loan move, Sporting Director Karolis Skinkys said, "I would like to say that I appreciate Seityasen’s time in Kerala Blasters very much. In this situation, it was the best decision for Seitya to change the club and I wish him all the best in the future. We have young upcoming talents in this position and I hope they will use this opportunity. We wish him all the best for his stint with the Hyderabad FC."

Seityasen began his ISL career with NorthEast United FC in 2015 and continued with them in 2016 as well. Thereafter, he played 11 times in the Hero ISL 2017-18 season for Delhi Dynamos FC and contributed one goal and three assists.
Unfortunately, he had to miss the entirety of the 2018-19 season due to an injury. He then made 10 appearances for Kerala Blasters in ISL 2019-20 and scored one goal and assisted another. He assisted one goal in 12 appearances for them in ISL 2020-21.
In the ongoing 2021-22 season, the 29-year-old clocked just 48 minutes across three games under Ivan Vukomanovic. In these three games, he had just 37 touches on the ball and completed 18 passes.
