Introducing the shirt sponsors of every ISL club for the 2021-22 season

These teams have been able to attract big business giants to be their shirt sponsors for the 2021-22 season.
All of the 11 clubs of the Indian Super League have kit manufacturers who provide brilliantly designed kits to the teams. Apart from the respective design and the club’s logo, there are also a few names imprinted on the front, back or on the sleeves of the shirt. The one on the front (mostly on the area between the chest and the stomach) are those of the shirt sponsors of the club.
Here are the shirt sponsors of all the ISL clubs for the 2021-22 season.
11. SC East Bengal
Shree Cement are the investors as well as the shirt sponsors of the Kolkata giants. Since their arrival in September, 2020, the company has invested a certain amount on the football team of the historical club. However, due to certain reasons, the deal between the club and the company couldn’t be finalized (the final agreement wasn’t signed). The company is investing in the club on the basis of a term-sheet.

The managing director of the company is Mr. Hari Mohan Bangur, who was also a member of the club (he lost his membership card and it wasn’t renewed after the mid-1960s). His father, Mr. Benu Gopal Bangur, is a lifetime member at the club as well. The company was founded in 1979 and is headquartered in Kolkata.
10. Odisha FC
Odisha Tourism is the shirt sponsor of Odisha FC. They initially played the ISL under the name of Delhi Dynamos. After they moved from Delhi to Odisha, the franchise changed their name to Odisha FC. The club signed a partnership with the state government of Odisha. As a result, Odisha Tourism became the shirt sponsors of the club.
9. NorthEast United
The company, whose name features in the front of the NorthEast United shirt is of Amrit Cement. In October 2021, just ahead of the ISL 2021-22 season, the club announced the partnership with Amrit Cement. The company is a leading manufacturer of cement with a presence across the nation.
Amrit Cement have a strong presence in the northeastern part of India. The registered office of Amrit Cement is situated in Meghalaya and their corporate office is located in Kolkata.
8. Mumbai City FC
The shirt sponsors of Mumbai City FC for ISL 2021-22 are Dubai Expo 2020. They are the principal partner of the club. The Dubai Expo 2020 is a World Expo, which is running from October 1, 2021 to March 31, 2022. The theme of the expo is 'Connecting Minds, Creating the Future'.
7. Kerala Blasters
The name of BYJU’S is imprinted on the front side of Kerala Blasters’ shirt. The company became associated with the club in 2020 as their title sponsor. In September 2021, BYJU’S extended their stay as the same. With their headquarters in Bangalore, BYJU’S is an Indian multinational educational technology company providing learning programs to students.

6. Jamshedpur FC
Tata Steel have remained as the shirt sponsors for Jamshedpur FC ever since the 2019-20 season,. The owners of Jamshedpur FC, Tata Steel are a subsidiary of the Tata Group. The company is one of the leading steel manufacturing company in India and was founded in 1907. The company was formerly known as Tata Iron and Steel Company Limited (TISCO). Tata Steel has its operations in 26 countries across the world.
5. Hyderabad FC
In October 2021, Hyderabad FC announced their association with DafaNews. A leading online sports portal, DafaNews, are the Nizams’ principal sponsor and a subsidiary of DafaBet, an online bookmaker. The company has enjoyed partnerships with clubs all across the globe. They entered the Indian Super League in 2019. In India, they are associated to clubs like Mumbai City FC, Chennaiyin FC and Bengaluru FC. The media hub provides daily news, features, interviews and more to the sports lovers.
4. FC Goa
1XNews are the principal title sponsor of FC Goa for the ISL 2021-22 season and their presence on the chest of the shirt and training wear remains bright enough for everyone to see. The company is a leading online news portal and a the subsidiary of online bookmaker 1XBet. 1XNews’ collaboration with FC Goa marks their first step into the football community of the country.
3. Chennaiyin FC
Ahead of the fourth edition of the Indian Super League (2017-18), the Marina Machans bagged Apollo Tyres as their principal sponsor. The company was founded in 1972 and has its headquarters in Gurugram. They are an Indian multinational tyre manufacturing company.

2. Bengaluru FC
Ever since the club’s inception in 2013 till 2018, the JSW Group acted as the principal sponsor of Bengaluru FC. However, for two consecutive seasons (2018-19 and 2019-20) KIA replaced them as the principal sponsors. In 2020, the JSW group made their way as the principal sponsor of the club for the second time. The company has its headquarters in Mumbai and is active in the sectors of steel, cement, minerals, energy, ports and infrastructure.
1. ATK Mohun Bagan
SBOTOP is serving as the shirt sponsor for the Kolkata giants since 2020. They are the principal sponsor of the club. The portal SBOTOP.net provides content on sports. It is actually the subsidiary of SBOBET, which is an online bookmaker. SBOTOP are also the shirt sponsors of Premier League side Leeds United since 2020.
