The victory took Owen Coyle's side to second in the standings.

Jamshedpur FC dented FC Goa's hopes of making the ISL 2021-22 playoffs with a narrow 1-0 victory at the Athletic Stadium in Bambolim on Friday. Daniel Chima, making his first start for the club since his transfer from SC East Bengal, scored the lone goal, albeit under controversial circumstances. Replays showed Chima was offside when Laldinliana Renthlei flicked the ball over the FC Goa defence for the Nigerian to score. But the linesman did not raise his flag and Jamshedpur waked out with crucial win taking them to second in the points standings, while FC Goa remain stranded at ninth for now.

Owen Coyle's Jamshedpur have 22 points from 12 games, while FC Goa from two matches more have only collected 14 points. Derrick Pereira's side are still four points off the fourth spot, but it will take a miracle for them to finish in the top four.

On that note, let’s have a look at the player ratings from tonight’s game.
