Both players struggled for minutes in ISL 2021-22.

Kerala Blasters FC have announced loan deals of Sreekuttan V.S and Abdul Hakku to I-League club Gokulam Kerala FC.

Sreekuttan V.S, who performed well for the reserve team during the Kerala Premier League last season, was part of the pre-season squad this season during which he represented the club in friendly games as well as in the Durand Cup.

Abdul Hakku has been an integral member of the club for the past few years and has played a total of fifteen matches in the Indian Super League till date.

Talking about the decision, Sporting Director Karolis Skinkys said

“We made an agreement with Gokulam Kerala FC to loan out two players to play the full 2021/22  I-league season. Our reserve team winger Sreekutan was part of the first-team preseason but did not make it into the first team. It’s a great opportunity for him to get playing time, experience senior football, and improve during this season.  Central defender Hakku is an experienced player who needs regular playing time at this point of his career. I hope to see him as one of the best position players in the I-league. I wish them both all the best this season.”

We wish both our players all the best for their stint with Gokulam Kerala FC in the upcoming I-League.
