"All of us at Mumbai City would like to wish Bartholomew Ogbeche the very best as he leaves the Islanders. Thank you, Bart," the club announced via their social media handles.
Born in Nigeria, Bartholomew Ogbeche kick-started his professional football career with Lobi Stars in his home country. He switched to Ligue 1 giants Paris Saint-Germain in 2001. This was followed by stints with SC Bastia, FC Metz, Al-Jazira, Deportivo Alaves, Real Valladolid, Cadiz CF, Middlesborough, Willem II Tilburg and a host of other clubs.
