Ratings: Kauko, Tlang shine as ATK Mohun Bagan draw Vs Odisha FC
(Courtesy : ISL Media)
With this draw the Mariners are now on a 13-match unbeaten run.
The final scoreline of the 100th game in Indian Super League Season 8 was decided within the first 10 minutes of kickoff. A fifth minute lead for Odisha FC was equalized by Joni Kauko from the spot for ATK Mohun Bagan. With a collective defensive masterclass, Odisha were able to maintain the scoreline. Both the sides had some chances, but were unable to make the most of them.
Most importantly, ATKMB dropped two massive points in their quest for the top spot, while the Juggernauts only have pride to play for in the rest of the season.

Kamaljit Singh (GK) - 8.0
Conceded from a penalty where he didn't have to do much. He showed his agility throughout the rest of the game in collecting the ball at the right time. Thanks to him the game ended all square.
Sebastian Thangmuansang - 6.5
Not much accuracy with the ball, but he was successful in man-marking the likes of Liston Colaco and Roy Krishna. He also got a booking.
Hector Rodas - 7.5
The Spaniard had great passion precision (87%) and cleared some chances. He was also seen taking efforts in tracking counter-attacks.
Victor Mongil - 6.5
Had some great interceptions but didn't achieve the level expected from him. A headed clearance from him at the 75th minute could have led to a potential threat.
Sahil Panwar - 6.0
Some successful dribbles, brilliant long runs and good defensive presence. He also had some tackles won, but a reckless challenge cost his team a penalty and they lost the lead.
Thoiba Singh - 6.0
More effective in the defensive third rather than the midfield. Though he had an impressive 90% passing accuracy, he didn't create much worry for Juan Ferrando's men.
Issac Vanmalsawma - 7.0
Nearly 80% passing accuracy, a couple of key passes and multiple touches. The 25-year-old has definitely left some marks on the turf.
Jerry Mawihmingthanga - 8.0
Assisted Redeem, had some amazing runs and a passing accuracy over 80%. The trusted Indian winger was worth every penny for his team.
Javi Hernandez - 6.0
Missed a penalty against his former side. That definitely reduces some points, but he was ruling the midfield throughout the game with his decisive passes. Was subbed off at the 40th minute due to an injury.
Redeem Tlang - 7.5
Scored a goal in the fifth minute of the game. He was also present in the defensive third whenever the team needed him. Not that great in short passes, but he was nailing the aerial balls. Nearly 70% passing accuracy and some great dribbles sum up his performance.
Aridai Cabrera - 6.5
The No. 7 was great off-the-ball, but he could've done better with his dribbles. His positions were often shielded by the Mariners' defence.
Substitutes
Daniel Lalhimpuia - 6.0
Came on at the 40th minute. Though he spent a lot more time on the field than expected, he was often running clueless without the ball.
Liridon Krashniqi - 6.0
Had some nice touches in midfield. Dribbled past the Mariners a couple of times, but couldn't find a man. With one minute left on the clock he hit the woodwork.
Nandhakumar - N/A
Had nearly 10 minutes of playing time. Except for a few touches he didn't have any remarkable impact.

Amrinder Singh – 7.0
Predicted Javi’s penalty perfectly to make a brilliant save and deny him in the first half. Made a few solid saves to ensure his side didn’t concede more than once.
Pritam Kotal – 5.5
Kotal ended up losing track of Tlang and let him get ahead of him for the opener. Struggled as a right-back, but improved after replacing Jhingan at centre-back, making some nice clearances.
Sandesh Jhingan – 6.0
Quite proactive with his defensive contributions early on, but struggled after suffering an injury. Subbed off at half-time as a precaution.
Tiri – 6.5
Bit unlucky to concede that penalty, but Amrinder’s save redeemed him. Played with fire with some clumsy challenges, but did a solid job keeping Aridai quiet.
Made four clearances, as many blocks and two interceptions in a proactive defensive effort and passed the ball forward well.
Subhasish Bose – 5.0
Bose had a difficult time dealing with the electric Jerry and allowed his cross to go through him for Odisha’s goal. Outwitted a few times defensively and his crosses weren’t accurate enough to create big chances either.
Carl McHugh – 7.0
McHugh helped his side boss the midfield battle, getting very involved in moves. Had the most touches among ATKMB players before being subbed, with an 89% passing accuracy and two blocks.
Lenny Rodrigues – 7.0
A really proactive figure in midfield, winning the ball multiple times in key areas to force swift breaks. Made two interceptions, as many tackles and blocks in a hard-working effort, in which he really frustrated the Odisha midfielders for ATK Mohun Bagan.
Manvir Singh – 5.0
Manvir was quite isolated on the right wing, but got more involved in the second half. Had a few shots blocked, but saw one tap-in effort saved late on. Struggled on the wings again.
Joni Kauko – 7.5
The in-form midfielder made no mistake whatsoever to slot home his penalty. Operated as an absolute workhorse, carrying the ball forward and moving ATKMB into the key areas.
Created a few big chances with clever passes, made two interceptions and moved things around well – often looking ATKMB’s biggest attacking threat.
Liston Colaco – 5.5
Liston troubled Odisha with some of his mazy forward runs, creating a few nice chances for ATK Mohun Bagan. But, he played with a knock for a long time, affecting his performance and forcing a substitution.
Hugo Boumous – 6.0
Boumous smartly goaded in a foul inside the box to earn the penalty for his side. Looked uncomfortable as a centre-forward, but got more freedom as an attacking midfielder the second half. Setup a few nice chances, but still lacked that ruthlessness or final product to get his side the win.
Substitutes
Ashutosh Mehta – 6.0
Mehta was a really proactive figure on the right, making five clearances and two interceptions in 45 minutes. But, lacked proper attacking threat to help his side get a winner.
Roy Krishna – 2.0
Krishna was brought on to score the winner, but ended up getting sent off after picking up two yellow cards. Got a few chances to score, but his shots were way off target in a poor display.
Kiyan Nassiri – 5.5
The youngster helped create some good stuff with his smart movement, but his lacking first touch cost him on a few occasions.
Deepak Tangri – N/A
Tangri couldn’t really create anything big for his side towards the end, with the majority of his experimental passes going awry.
Michael Soosairaj – N/R
Failed to make any late impact and skied a shot into the stands in stoppage time.
