Young talented defender Nabi Hussain Khan is in talks with SC East Bengal to sign for next season. The 23-year-old right-back from George Telegraph is in the club’s plans for next season’s Calcutta Football League and IFA Shield.
Nabi Hussain Khan started his football career with the U-18 team of Mohammedan SC. He made his senior debut for George Telegraph in the 2017-18 CFL season. Nabi impressed fans with his brilliant performances in the 2021 campaign. He also has the experience of playing in the I-League Qualifiers for Mohammedan SC. Currently, he is a major part of the Santosh Trophy team for West Bengal.
Strengths
Nabi operates from the right flank. His speed can be of great use for any ISL or I-League team. Nabi’s work-rate ad agility also make him a great asset to have in any team. Still only 23, the defender though has a lot to improve on his defensive positioning skills.

But, as Renedy doesn’t have an AFC Pro License, the SCEB officials decided to hire Mario Rivera as their head coach. SC East Bengal are currently in 10th position, with 10 points from 17 matches and just a single win.
