The away side recovered after going down by two goals early in the first half.

Jamshedpur FC was humbled by Odisha FC in the last five minutes of regulation time of the Indian Super League ISL 2022-23 game. The current champions of India failed to live up to the expectations of the fans on their return. The Men of Steel started the game on a high note with two goals in the first ten minutes. But Odisha FC got better with time and spoiled the party for the fans.

Here is how the players fared from both the teams in this last moment turnaround.

Jamshedpur FC (By JN Balraj)

Rehenesh TP (GK) - 5.5

The Jamshedpur FC custodian did not look comfortable throughout the whole game against Odisha FC. Rehenesh made just one save in the game and was reluctant when the team conceded twice within four minutes.

Dinliana Renthlei - 6.5

The energetic right-back delivered a satisfactory performance on the right flank. Dinliana made five crucial interceptions and was dominant against Odisha FC attackers.

Eli Sabia - 6.0

Towering Eli was quiet and calm at the back and could not have done much to avoid the two last-minute goals. Sabia made three clearances and one successful tackle.

Peter Hartley - 6.5

The Jamshedpur FC captain was commanding at the back again on the night. Peter made five clearances, two interceptions and a successful tackle. He also attempted two shots to break Odisha FC’s defence in a set-piece situation.

Ricky Lallawmawma - 7.0

The experienced left-back tried to kill the game within the first 10 minutes with involvement in both goals. Ricky made two tackles and four interceptions defensively in the game.

Germanpreet Singh - 5.0

The seasoned Indian Super League midfielder was awful on his Jamshedpur FC debut. In both the first two goals of Odisha FC Germanpreet was caught off position and gave attackers a lot of space to channelise. Singh tried to make some impact through his direct balls but those lacked accuracy as well.

Wellington Priori - 5.5

The Brazilian struggled to cope with the temperament of the game on his league return. Wellington was wasteful with the set-piece situation, something that Jamshedpur FC utilised very well with Greg Stewart. Priori played three key passes to make his mark and was average on the ball except on a few occasions.

Farukh Chowdhury - 5.5

The fan favourite Farukh made his much-anticipated return after missing out last season. But the comeback was lacklustre for the forward who was played in a questionable centre midfield role behind Wellington Priori. Farukh did not cover the space in the central channel that allowed Raynier to make the run and find Mauricio for the first goal.

Boris Singh - 7.0

The hard-working winger was commanding on the wing with his blistering pace. Boris scored the second goal and was a lively presence on the flank throughout.

Ritwik Das - 7.5

Ritwik was undoubtedly the best player for Jamshedpur FC on the pitch. Every appreciable attack for the team came from his flank. Ritwik completed four dribbles and created two big chances, one leading to the second goal.

Daniel Chima Chukwu - 7.0

The Nigerian opened the scoring for Jamshedpur FC with a thunderous strike. Chima then created one big chance and was the lone warrior in attack since then. The fans would love to see his chemistry with Ritwik further.

Substitutes

Harry Sawyer - 5.5

The big Australian striker was left alone upfront to create something from direct balls. Sawyer struggled to make any impact owing to the deep-lying midfield of Jamshedpur FC.

Len Doungel - 6.0

Len was brought in to replace Boris Singh. The midfielder was good at times with his cheeky skills but couldn’t make any serious impact in the game.

Jitendra Singh - N/A

Jitendra was given five minutes to throw himself in defence and had nothing much to do else.

Ishan Pandita - N/A

The super-sub Pandita was on the pitch for the last 70 seconds. And that was not enough for him to save the team.

Odisha FC (By Souvari Paul)

Amrinder Singh - 7.0

Amrinder Singh had a decent outing today. Despite conceding two goals, he was able to make some good saves.

T. S. Moirangthem - 6.5

Moirangthem’s day did not go much well as both the Jamshedpur goals were scored from his side. However, after the initial two goals, he looked sturdy and prevented Jamshedpur from scoring further.

Narender Gehlot - 6.5

The case is similar to Gehlot as well. He looked sturdy throughout but could have done more to prevent conceding the two goals.

Carlos Delgado - 7.0

Carlos Delgado had a solid outing today. Apart from the initial goals, he did not allow much space for Jamshedpur attackers.

Sahil Panwar - 7.0

Sahil Panwar played well today and kept the left side of Odisha’s defence stable. He also aided the team in attacks from the right flank.

Raynier Fernandes - 7.5

Raynier played very well in the midfield by keeping opposition midfielders under check. He provided the assist for Mauricio’s first goal.

Osama Malik - 7.0

Osama’s debut proved to be good as the team won and he contributed to the team’s victory in a comprehensive manner.

Saúl Crespo - 7.5

Saul Crespo was one of the highlights of Odisha FC’s win today. He played very well and kept Odisha’s midfield fluid.

Jerry Mawihmingthanga - 6.0

It was a mixed outing for Jerry. He did play good football in patches but missed out on scoring due to poor finishing. Ultimately, he was subbed off in the 61st minute.

Diego Maurício - 8.5

It was a good game for Mauricio as he scored a brace for Odisha FC, including the winning goal against Jamshedpur FC. It was a great comeback win for Odisha in which he played a leading role.

Nanda Kumar - 5.5

Nanda Kumar also had a mixed outing today with patches of good football. At the same time, he displayed a lack of composure at certain moments where a little bit more composure could have created better chances.

Substitutes

Issac Vanmalsawma - 7.0

Issac proved to be a super sub for Odisha by scoring the equalizer for his side. He showed good composure in front of the goal.

Pedro Martin - 6.5

Pedro Martin also had a decent outing after coming on as a substitute as he created pressure in the midfield.

D. Meitei - 5.5

Meitei played his part in the dying minutes of the game and ensured that JFC was not able to score anymore.

Victor Rodriguez - 6.0

Victor Rodriguez did not get much time to work his magic. Still, his introduction created some problems that led to Odisha’s late goals.

Isak Vanlalruatfela - 6.5

Vanlalruatfela had a good game. He proved to be an impactful substitute by providing the assist for Odisha’s second goal.
