Which clubs have scored the most goals in the ISL?
Some of the heavyweights of the league competition lead the scoring charts.
The Indian Super League (ISL) is full of entertainment and fierce competition. Across the seven editions, there have been some consistent teams who constantly find themselves among the top positions in the league. These clubs have scored a lot of goals in the process of achieving their objectives.
Teams like FC Goa, Mumbai City FC, Kerala Blasters and so on have traditionally played attacking football, scoring a lot of goals. Over the years, these teams have also recruited exceptional attacking players, both foreign and domestic.
Having said that, looking at the history of the ISL, which teams have scored the most number of goals after end of ISL 2020-21 season? Let's find out:

5. ATK - 138 (107 matches)
ATK FC ceased to exist after the club merged with Mohun Bagan. Thus, ATK Mohun Bagan (ATKMB) was born before the 2020-21 season. The two-time ISL champions were one of the most consistent performers in the history of the competition. Based at Kolkata, they scored 138 goals in 107 games across six editions.
Some of their highest goalscorers included the likes of Iain Hume (18 goals), Roy Krishna (15 goals), and Edu Garcia (nine goals). Nowadays, ATKMB, with similar players in Krishna and David Williams, continue to terrify defenders.
4. Kerala Blasters - 141 (122 matches)
Kerala Blasters have a history of ups and downs in the ISL. The two-time finalists have scored a lot of goals across the seven editions. Despite their current fall from grace and consistently bad performances, the Yellow Army have been prolific in front of goal. Overall, the Kochi-based outfit have scored 141 goals in 122 games.
Some established foreign players have represented the club, going on to score a lot of goals. Their top three goalscorers are Bartholomew Ogbeche with 15 goals, CK Vineeth with 11 and Iain Hume with 10 goals.

3. Mumbai City FC - 162 (123 matches)
Mumbai City FC have also played entertaining football historically. The Islanders have elevated their squad with exceptional attacking talent, especially in recent times under the ownership of the City Football Group. The outfit managed to secure their maiden ISL crown in the 2020-21 season, after playing attacking football under Sergio Lobera’s leadership.
Their top three scorers are Modou Sougou (15 goals), Adam le Fondre (11 goals) and Ogbeche (8 goals). MCFC are one of three clubs to have scored more than 150 goals in the history of the ISL.
2. Chennaiyin FC - 182 (127 matches)
Chennaiyin FC are one of ISL’s most decorated teams. The two-time winners of the competition have scored the second-most number of goals in the league. The Marina Machans have scored 182 goals in 127 games since the inaugural season. They have also played the second-most number of games behind FC Goa.
In the seasons so far, several high quality players have represented CFC’s colours. Their list of top three goalscorers comprises of Jeje Lalpekhlua (23 goals), Stiven Mendoza (17 goals) and Nerijus Valskis (15 goals). Apart from Bengaluru FC, CFC are the only ISL club with an Indian as their all-time top scorer.

1. FC Goa - 238 (130)
FC Goa are the all-time leading club in terms of scoring the most number of goals. The Gaurs have never won the league, but they did win the regular season in their 2019-20 campaign. This achievement ensured direct qualification to the group stages of the AFC Champions League 2021 as well. The Goan outfit have traditionally played an attractive, attacking brand of football and thus have scored 238 goals in merely 130 games.
The Gaurs are the first and only club so far in the ISL to have scored more than 200 goals. Some of the best players in the league have played for the team. In terms of their top goalscoring players, Ferran Corominas leads with 48 goals in 57 games. He is followed by Hugo Boumos with 16 goals and Igor Angulo with 14 goals.
