Both European giants are said to be keen to lure the youngster to their respective clubs.

Jadon Sancho is fast becoming a top target for many of the big European clubs who vying to avail his services in the summer transfer window. According to The Telegraph, the two front-runners that have emerged in English and French giants Manchester United and Paris Saint-Germain.

Both clubs are set to play each other for the second-leg of UEFA Champions League Round of 16 fixture on 7th March. It looks like their competition will extend to the transfer window as both clubs are set to compete for the 18-year-old Sancho, who is currently playing at Borussia Dortmund in Bundesliga.

The young prospect has emerged as the top transfer target for Manchester United alongwith Kalidou Koulibaly from Napoli. Reports suggest that United is set to match Dortmund’s £90m asking price. However, with PSG in the fold, the transfer fee could easily cross the £100m mark which will make the former Manchester City player the first English player worth such a fortune.

United are desperate for better attacking options and a summer move for the winger come as a desperate option. United’s recent injury to Alexis Sanchez, which sees him out of action for at least three months is also another motivation for the move. A swap deal may be in the offing if that is the case, since the Chilean has failed to impress and has been a constant disappointment for the Red Devils.

Meanwhile, PSG is looking to bolster their already star-studded squad that features players like Kylian Mbappe, Neymar Jr and Angel Di Maria in the positions Jadon Sancho prefers to plays in. It remains to be seen if the young winger will be a starter or only a squad player if he signs for the French outifit, although the latter role seems more likely.

It is going to be a good competition nevertheless, since Jadon Sancho has emerged as one of the most sought after players in Europe right now, despite his young age. He has been instrumental in Dortmund’s stellar performances this season where he has contributed in 18 goals out of 24 matches ( eight goals and 10 assists) and will only get better with time.
