Under the snow-dusted, jagged peaks of the Western Alps along the northern rim of Turin, the Allianz Arena in Torino gears up to host a Matchweek 10 fixture in Serie A. Home team Juventus and Napoli face each other in what is set to be a thrilling clash.
Juventus are placed ninth in the Italian top tier and are coming off a 2-0 defeat to Genoa in the last game. They have won just two out of their last five games. Keeping clean sheets has not been easy for Juventus
Luciano Spalletti will be up against his former side Napoli. They have won 11 of their 16 home games against the team from Naples. Both sides are level on 14 points.
Napoli, who are level on points with Juventus, are unbeaten in their last three games. They won 4-3 against Bodo Glimt in the UEFA Champions League after McTominay scored a brace in a seven-goal thriller. After a 3-3 draw against AS Roma, the Naples-based outfit are coming off a 4-1 win over Monza in the last game.
Hojlund, Politano, Marin and De Bruyne found their name in the scoresheet. They are led by Marco Landucci. Massimiliano Allegri will be unavailable on the touchline and will be serving his final game of a two-match touchline suspension.
This is a crucial game for both sides to grab all three points to climb higher in the points table.
Players to Watch
Guglielmo Vicario (Juventus)
The Tottenham Hotspur goalkeeper, who is currently on loan at Juventus, has kept three clean sheets so far and has conceded 10 goals in nine games. He has prior experience playing in Italy with Empoli, Cagliari and Venezia. He will be keen to keep a clean sheet against Napoli.
He will be up against Napoli strikers like Hojlund, Lang and Politano. The team have scored 11 goals across their last three games, and it is never easy playing against them. Vicario possesses world-class lateral explosive push.
He will be a key player for the Old Lady in the upcoming game.
Mathias OIivera (Napoli)
The Uruguayan defender from Montevideo has plied his trade with Getafe and Nacional before finding his new home in Italy with Napoli. A primary defensive stalwart for Diego Forlán’s Uruguay, he featured for the South American giants in Copa América and FIFA World Cup 2026.
He will be up against wingers like Kalulu and McKennie. It will be a key battle to watch out for on the flanks. He uses his physical frame and timing to shut down and isolate wingers. Napoli will rely on his accelerated runs upfront to set up McTominay.
