The Brazilian formed an amazing attacking trident with the Argentine, and Luis Suarez during his time with the Spanish club.

It wasn't long ago when Lionel Messi's expected Barcelona heir, Neymar, left the Catalan outfit for cash-strapped Paris Saint-Germain, in August 2017. But now it seems that there is a minute possibility that he could be on his way back to LaLiga.

The Blaugrana skipper recently stated that he would love to see the Brazilian and former gaffer Pep Guardiola back in Barcelona. Although the Argentine has admitted that it is highly unlikely that the French outfit will let their talisman leave.

The former Santos star spent four highly successful seasons at Barcelona. He won two league titles, and a UEFA Champions League title. It was highly believed that he departed the Spanish side, with a desire to come out of Messi's shadow.

Recently speculation regarding his arrival to Barca has heightened after his Selecao teammate Arthur (who currently plays for Barcelona) said this week, that he was hoping for the rumours to be true.

Neymar formed an amazing attacking trident with Messi, and Luis Suarez, bombarding opponents with amazing attacking moves. So it is pretty obvious that the Barcelona talisman would want his former partner-in-crime back in the Nou Camp, but knows that it is most probably not possible.

The 2014 FIFA World Cup runner-up told Marca, "I see it as complicated. We would love him to come back for what he means, both as a player and for the locker room. We are friends, we have lived very nice moments, others not so much, but we have spent a lot of time together. However, I find it very difficult [for him] to even leave Paris. PSG are not going to let Neymar get taken away."

It is true that five-time Ballon d'Or doesn't forget his roots. So it doesn't come as a surprise that he hopes for a future arrival of Pep Guardiola – the man who made Messi what he is now. Johan Cruyff's favourite disciple is currently managing Manchester City, and had previously said that he would come back to Barca one day as a youth coach. But it seems, that Messi has other plans.

The LaLiga icon said, "Although it is difficult, I would like to work with Guardiola again. He is one of the best coaches in the world. That's why I would like [him to come back], but I'm telling you that I see it as complicated."

Guardiola's Manchester City stumbled to their third defeat in this premier league season, two in a row to Crystal Palace and Leicester City and dropped to the third position behind Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur.
