Following the incident the game was briefly halted for 10 minutes.
Yesterday's La Liga game between Eibar and Sevilla came to a halt as a barrier of the away stand collapsed, with two supporters being injured. Eibar hosted Sevilla at the Ipurua Municipal Stadium, where a barrier in the away stand gave way under the pressure of celebrating Sevilla fans, according reports on Spanish television.
Following Ever Banega's penalty in the 59th minute, the Sevilla fans rushed down to celebrate the goal. The high pressure on the barrier caused it to collapse with two fans getting injured. Both of them were carried out of the venue on stretchers by medics. Following the incident, the match came to a brief halt for about 10 minutes.
The ground staff did well to get the situation under control and helped other supporters to get back to their seats safely. Sevilla won the game 1-3, thanks to a second half brace from Banega and a goal from Andre Silva.
