Luiz Suarez sign £1 million a year deal with Puma

The Barcelona gaffer is confident of Luis Suarez despite poor form as he pens down a new-boot deal.
The Spanish season opener is just hours away and there are already concerns growing about the fitness and form of Luis Suarez, who had a roller-coaster pre-season. Suarez, 31, registered 31 goals last term including a dew of dry spells and it is being considered that he is past his prime.
Reported by ESPN, Ernesto Valverde said, “Luis is fine. He’s only just coming back from his [post-World Cup] break, so he’s gradually getting up to speed, but he looks good.”
“He was criticised at the start of last season, too, because he was struggling to score goals regularly. But when he starts [scoring] he doesn’t stop," Valverde added.
”Luis is a goalscorer, he’s aggressive in the area... We know what he gives us. Regardless of his success [in front of goal], the fight is always there. He has that. Goals are a question of patience and perseverance," the Barcelona manager further asserted.

Despite the growing concerns by the media and fans, Puma took over the former Adidas athlete as his sportswear sponsor via an animated video posted online in which Suarez is depicted in the Wild West, entering a saloon bar full of other star players.
He was a loyal Adidas gear user for over a decade but the Puma's a million pound a year deal was something Suarez did not turn down.
Impressive!
