He will not travel to face Sevilla and might not feature against Atletico Madrid either.

Real Madrid ace Isco is set to undergo an operation due to appendicitis. Los Blancos confirmed that the midfielder will miss the league clash against Sevilla and most likely the home Madrid Derby as well.

The Spain international will undergo an operation due to the problem as confirmed by the club. Losing Isco to injury is a big blow for the team. In their past four visits to the Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan, Real have incurred three defeats. The statement on the club's website read: "After the tests performed on our player Isco, he was diagnosed with acute appendicitis. The player will be operated on in the next hours."

Dani Carvajal was out of the Espanyol game due to an injury he suffered in the Champions League against Roma and reports suggest, he will not be risked in the fixture against Sevilla. Alvaro Odriozola started in place of Carvajal to make his debut for Real against Espanyol, and Nacho will compete with him for the vacant position.

Toni Kroos is expected to return to the team after being left out altogether at the weekend, while Gareth Bale is likely to replace the stricken Isco, after remaining an unused substitute on Saturday.
