The former Palermo attacker could be on his way to Spain.

Until last season, Paulo Dybala was the face of a deadly Juventus side which thrice won the Serie A and the Coppa Italia in three years while also winning the Supercoppa Italia twice. However, the Argentine has been struggling since the past few months having scored just two goals in his 18 appearances in the league and is also tipped to leave the club by the end of the season.

The heavyweight summer signing of Cristiano Ronaldo by the Turin-based club is probably the biggest reason behind Dybala’s recent struggles. It wouldn’t be wrong to state that Ronaldo stole Dybala’s thunder at Juventus. The 25-year-old Dybala who netted a staggering amount 75 goals for the Italian giants in his 165 appearances during the last three years, is suddenly feeling the heat of being ousted from the starting lineup under Massimiliano Allegri.

After constantly being linked with a move away from the Old Lady, recent reports from British newspaper, The Sun, suggested that Real Madrid are all set to place a £90 million bid for the former Palermo forward. It is not unknown now that Dybala wasn’t the only one to suffer from Ronaldo’s transfer as the Portuguese’s former club are having a tough season too. Sitting third in the La Liga table, 10 points below arch-rivals Barcelona, the Los Blancos are in dire need of a talismanic goalscorer to reduce the point gap.

Ronaldo’s transfer dealt a huge blow for the Spanish giants as they struggled to win games during the early stages of the season which also led to the sacking of their former manager Julen Lopetegui. Although things seem to have come back to normal under Santiago Solari, Madrid definitely aren’t as strong as they are supposed to be. Dybala’s inclusion would be highly fruitful for the club and even for the player himself who is suddenly looking out of favour at his current club. Interestingly, Arsenal’s  Aaron Ramsey is very likely to join Juventus on a free transfer next season which might make Dybala’s away move inevitable.

However, Madrid are not the only ones who are interested in acquiring the forward’s services. Manchester City have been targeting Dybala since long and are interested to bring him to the Premier League. City manager Pep Guardiola is an admirer of the Argentine since his days at Bayern Munich and definitely has the adequate resources to persuade him over a potential move. Yet, a move to Madrid would still be fascinating for the player and their latest mouthwatering bid may not be something Juventus would quite like to reject.
