Le Aquile have seen a poor start to the season. They were knocked out of the Coppa Italia after losing to Mantova in the first-round fixture. SS Lazio then came back to winning ways after their 1-0 win against Bologna in the Italian top flight. Genoa CFC are coming in after facing a 0-2 defeat at the hands of Napoli in their opening game of the Serie A 2026-27 season. They did secure a win in the first round of the cup competition, but did not stand a chance against Napoli. The upcoming contest will be a tough one for the Daniele De Rossi-led side. The Griffin have failed to secure a win in their last five matches against Le Aquile. They will have to come up with a calm and composed approach or otherwise they should get ready to drop three more points.
