Le Havre Athletic Club will face Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) in their ninth matchweek fixture of the Ligue 2026-27 season. The two clubs are set to lock horns at the Stade Océane in what can be an interesting outing.
Didier Digard’s men have failed to secure a win in the French top division this season. They have suffered back-to-back defeats in their last four matches and will be under pressure for their next one. Le Havre AC fell prey to Marseille in their previous league outing (3-4).
They conceded four goals due to their poor defence and tried to make a comeback, but it was not enough. Despite being at home for their upcoming clash, the Dean Club will have to do a lot of hard work. They must not drop their guard against Paris Saint-Germain, or they should get ready for yet another loss.
The Luis Enrique-led side are coming off a 2-0 victory against Lyon in their recent Ligue 1 clash. They had full control of the game and did not allow many chances to their rivals. The Parisians are now on a six-match winning run in the league and are at the top of the points table.
Even though the next outing will be an away game for them, PSG are going to be fully confident due to their current run of form. They will once again look to shut down their opponents and secure three points.
Players to Watch
Josh Maja (Le Havre)
The 27-year-old is all set for a crucial role in the attacking front for Le Havre AC. He scored a sensational brace for his side in what was a 3-4 loss against Marseille. Josh Maja will be looking to step up his game once again so that he can help the hosts stand a chance against the Parisians.
He will be deployed as one of the strikers.
Mika Godts (PSG)
Mika Godts was the star of the show for Paris Saint-Germain in their 2-0 win against Olympique Lyonnais. He was one of the goal scorers and bagged a crucial assist after coming on from the bench in the 57th minute. The 21-year-old will play an important role in the squad for the hosts yet again.
