Delhi Dynamos First Goal
37' Mendy hoofs the ball up, but Dynamos instantly punish him for his crime against the game as Lewis has one more shot on target. Kerr coolly saves it. 35' Chennaiyin are no hurry to claim an equaliser, with Wadoo, Mendy, and Riise passing amongst themselves. 34' GOOALLL!! DELHI DYNAMOS SCORED. Delhi scored against the run of play, but a brilliant left footed striker from Marcelino restores the lead. Quick response from the visitors. 29' GOOALLL!!! DUDU SCORED FOR HOST. Dynamos string passes together delightfully, but Chennaiyin kill them on the counter after Emerson's cross had been dealt with. Dudu beats Santana in a one-on-one. 29' None of Nallapan's crosses find a blue shirt, and the home side's full-backs are having a frustrating game so far. 28' Gadze dribbles past five Chennaiyin shirts, but it needs a Mendy clearance to stop him from having a shot on goal. Goalscorer Pereira takes it. Dynamos win another corner, but Chennaiyin clear the danger. 27' Chennaiyin have a mountain to climb, especially with Zambrotta's men already being the better side. 25' GOOALLLL!!! Delhi Dynamos Scored . Pereira converts from the spot. The visitors take the lead. 25' PENALTY FOR DELHI. Tebar finds a white shirt in the penalty box, but Kerr brings him down. The referee points to the spot. 23' Lalpekhlua sprays a pass to his left but, as Dude reaches the ball,the flag goes up. 22' Dynamos' passes have been pinpoint, albeit mostly sideways. 20' Chennaiyin cannot handle Dynamos' press. Augusto has been brought down by Gadze, and either player enter a war of words. Referee intervenes as the game continues. 18' Dudu and Jeje Lalpekhlua combine to tear down the Dynamos defence but, with the penalty box crammed with six white shirts, Chennaiyin could do nothing but have an audacious shot that flies over the bar. 17' Mulder finds Dudu near the edge of the box, but the Nigerian's poor first touch means Santana takes control of the situation. 15' A Pereira flicks offers plenty of time to Ongnam. Ongnam sends in a cross, but Kerr averts the danger. 14' Dynamos are bossing the midfield 12' GOAL! Mendy commits a houler that results in Lewis taking full advantage of the situation. Kerr deals with the initial shot superbly, but he could only watch as the Dynamos goalscorer rounds him. But the referee rules out the goal. 10' Dynamos have proved a solid defensive unit. Most of the Chennaiyin's chances have come out of hoofing the ball up, but Lalpekhlua finds enough space to have a shot on target. Santa blocks it, with the ball falling onto the Indian striker, who gives away a goalkick 9' Rane takes the corner, but Mendy's resulting header travels inches past the post. 9' Rane has been lively so far. The former Indian youth international sprays a pass to Mohanraj who send in a low cross into the penalty area. Chennaiyin win a corner. 8' Mulder is brought down and Chennaiyin seem to have settled into the game. A corner is swung into the penalty area but Dudu heads it over the bar for a freekick. 7' Dynamos' defence is compact as Chennaiyin are hardly registering any pass in the final third. 5' Emerson takes a shot from outside the penalty box but his effort has a deflection from a Chennaiyin player as the ball goes for a corner. 4' Chennaiyin are greatly resorting to scoofing the ball up whilst Dynamos are building up awesomely thanks to the wizardry of Emerson. 3' Chennaiyin take a poor corner that leads to a Dynamos counter-attack. Emerson and Lewin combine to create a chance but Pereira squanders the chance. Chennaiyin superbly deal with the resulting corner. 2' CHANCE! Sahni tries his luck from the edge of the box but Santa parries it away for a corner. 1' Mendy tries finding Lalpekhlua from deep but Dynamos clear for the throw in. 1' Lalpekhlua and Omagbemi gets things going in Chennai. 6:56 pm Mendy leads the home side whilst Spaniard Santana skippers Dynamos. 6:54 pm The players are out of the tunnel! We will have the National Anthem before the kick off! 6:52 pm Fun fact: Chennaiyin's starting line-up features players from seven different nationalities and from four different continents. 6:42 pm Chennaiyin's theme song Suthi Podu is pumping the crowd up. The stadium is still half empty, but the fans have been vocal so far. Only a few seats in the Marina Arena is filled as things stand, but the stadium will definitely be set alight by one of the most loyal fanbases in the league in a few minutes from now.
