Klopp and Mourinho renew rivalries in the Premier League.
Liverpool host Manchester United in the season’s first Northwest Derby in a tie where the hosts are the bookmaker's favourites having won their last five games in a row. Jose Mourinho's men will be eager to halt the Reds’ progress when the two arch-rivals meet in the wee hours of Tuesday morning. Team News Adam Lallana missed England's international fixtures against Malta and Slovenia and is still doubtful for this clash. Dutch midfielder Georginio Wijnaldum is also unlikely to be unavailable with a hip injury. Phil Jones will be unavailable for the visitors and has been out of action since mid-September. Head to Head Liverpool have lost the most league matches (67) against Manchester United than against any other opponent. The Reds have lost their last two league meetings with Manchester United at Anfield. Man to Watch Roberto Firmino-Liverpool: There is an argument to say that the Brazilian attacker has been Liverpool's best player this season having already scored three goals in the Premier League which includes a brace in his side's 4-1 win over defending champions, Leicester City. Although he was frustrating in the first half in the 2-1 win over Swansea City, but after scoring a goal and later winning the penalty for his side in the tie he will be looking to continue his good form in this one. Ander Herrera-Manchester United: The Spaniard will be United's most important defensive player and has already impressed in holding his side's midfield together. Having already earned praise from the Portuguese manager after his inclusion in the Spanish side for the first time. The former Athletic Bilbao player will be looking to bring his good form for his country to his club. Probable Line-ups Liverpool: Karius, Matip, Lovren, Clyne, Milner, Can, Sturridge, Firmino, Coutinho, Mane Manchester United: De Gea, Smalling, Blind, Bailley, Valencia, Pogba, Herrera, Mata, Rashford, Ibrahimovic. Broadcast: The match will be telecast live on Star Sports network and on Hotstar in Indian Subcontinent.Preview by Pratyush Mishra . An Engineer In Making and a nutty football lover.
