Liverpool vs Como: Full lineups confirmed for pre-season friendly

The Reds will play their last pre-season game today.
In their final pre-season game, Andoni Iraola’s Liverpool take on Cesc Fabregas’s Como.
The two teams will play each other behind closed doors at AXA Training Centre a few hours before fans are allowed to enter the stadium at Anfield.
If the Reds’ scorelines are any indication, Iraola’s ball has been in full flow throughout Liverpool’s summer friendly session, with a staggering 18 goals scored in the hosts’ four exhibition games.
Cesc Fabregas is heading north after an emotional homecoming to Emirates on Wednesday, when his Como team shared the spoils with Premier League winners Arsenal.
Myles Lewis-Skelly’s goal came before Martin Baturina’s thundering equaliser, but the Gunners defeated the Italian upstarts on penalties. David Raya saved a spot kick for Alvaro Morata.
Fabregas, who received a generally positive response in North London, has led Como to an undefeated preseason schedule. During the summer, Como’s record is two victories and three draws.
The soon-to-be Champions League newcomers have also had plenty of entertainment. Como have scored and given up in each of their five exhibition games this summer, scoring 10 goals and giving up seven.
Although Liverpool and Como have never faced off in any format previously, today’s match might set up their first-ever meeting, and maybe both sides could meet in a competitive game.
