Liverpool FC are now ready to shift their focus back to the English Premier League 2026-27 campaign. They are gearing up to have face Fulham FC at Anfield.

They are coming off their 2-1 win against Atletico Madrid in the UEFA Champions League and will now be looking to use this momentum in the EPL.
Andoni Iraola’s men have shown a drastic improvement in defence over their last two games and it will now be interesting to see them against the Cottagers. Being at home will be a big advantage for Liverpool, but it surely will not be an easy task.
The Alvaro Arbeloa-led side have faced consecutive defeats in their first three fixtures of the Premier League 2026-27 season. They only have one win to their name this season, which came against AFC Wimbledon in the Carabao Cup.
Fulham put up a strong fight against Crystal Palace in their last league outing, but it was not enough, and they lost 2-3. They must now repeat the mistakes in the backline, or otherwise it will only be easier for the Reds.

Dominik Szoboszlai (Liverpool)
Dominik Szoboszlai was the star of the show for Liverpool in their Champions League outing against Atletico Madrid. He scored one of the goals for his side and was one of the most consistent players in the team. The 25-year-old Hungarian midfielder has been doing well and is going to create problems for the visitors with the ball at his feet.
Joshua King (Fulham)
The 19-year-old English midfielder has played a crucial role both in the midfield and the attacking front for Fulham FC. He has scored a goal each against Chelsea and Crystal Palace. Joshua King will be looking to step up his game so that he can help the Cottagers secure their first points of the new Premier League season.
