Fresh from defending their Ligue 1 and UEFA Champions League titles, Paris Saint-Germain will begin their preparations for the upcoming season with a friendly match against Spanish side Mallorca at Estadio Mallorca Son Moix in Palma on Wednesday, August 5.
The French giants are set to face Aston Villa in the UEFA Super Cup on August 12, and will play two friendly matches before that fixture, starting with the clash against Mallorca. This will be their first outing since the UEFA Champions League final against Arsenal, where they won 4-3 on penalties.
For Mallorca, meanwhile, the pre-season campaign has involved two big wins over Saudi Pro League sides. Los Bermellones beat Al Fateh 3-0 in their opener, powered by a brace from Angolan forward Zito Luvumbo. He found the back of the net again in the 4-2 win over Al-Ittihad, which also featured goals from Pablo Torre, Aboubaka Soumahoro, and Sergi Darder.
