Many notable names are absent from the pre-season roster.

Manchester City have announced their 28-man roster for their pre-season trip to Asia. Enzo Maresca’s team will play three friendlies: against Inter Milan, the K-League All-Stars, and Atletico Madrid.

Manchester City’s pre-season tour of Asia was slated to include a formidable group. Many City stars who competed in the World Cup have returned to the club and will take part in the team’s pre-season trip.

Enzo Maresca will get a closer look at some first-team players as well as a multitude of Man City’s youth players, as the club’s 28-man travelling squad for their preseason tour of Asia was announced.

With many Manchester City stars currently on a post-World Cup break, several of the club’s young players will be allowed to shine in Asia. Jeremy Monga, Kaden Braithwaite, Floyd Samba, Jaden Heskey, and Ryan McAidoo are among the young players on the squad.

Gianluigi Donnarumma and Phil Foden did not compete at the World Cup this summer, so they are a part of the pre-season squad.

The pre-season trip will allow Maresca to get a better look at his team as he works to incorporate his tactical ideas and philosophies ahead of the 2026-27 season. Manchester City’s travelling squad is listed below.
