Manchester City will be ready to battle it out against Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) for their second league phase contest of the UEFA Champions League 2026-27 campaign. The Etihad Stadium will be ready to witness this high-voltage fixture.

The Enzo Maresca-led side are on a flying run of form at the moment. They are coming off a 3-0 win against Liverpool in the Premier League. It was an easy win for them.

In their opening UCL game of this season, Manchester City managed an easy 2-0 victory against FC Porto. They will now be keen to keep their winning run going.

With their current run of form and the home ground advantage, they are going to be full of confidence. The Cityzens will be looking to control the game from the start, but it is set to be a difficult outing for them.

Luis Enrique’s men are now on a four-match winning run. They enjoyed a dominant 6-1 win against Slovan Bratislava in their first UEFA Champions League game of the season. The upcoming contest is not going to be an easy one for them.

The Parisians must not allow many chances to their opponents. PSG might be away from home for their upcoming fixture, but they have a star-studded, balanced squad. This is surely going to be a massive advantage for them.

Paris Saint-Germain started their Champions League title defence on a positive note. They will be looking to maintain it moving forward.

Players to Watch

Erling Haaland (Manchester City)

Erling Haaland has been on a sensational run of form for Manchester City since the beginning of the season and will be eager to deliver another top performance. He scored a sensational brace against FC Porto in their opening UCL game of the campaign. The Norwegian forward will be once again deployed as the sole striker and is going to keep the opponent’s defence on edge.

Ousmane Dembele (PSG)

Ousmane Dembele delivered a top performance in the previous Champions League game for Paris Saint-Germain. He bagged a brace and also secured two assists, helping his side secure a 6-1 win. The Frenchman will once again be deployed in the final third for PSG and will be looking to trouble Manchester City’s defence with his fast pace.
