Led by Michael Carrick, Manchester United are looking to strengthen their squad in the summer 2026 transfer window. The Red Devils finished third in the Premier League during the 2025-26 campaign.
They will now be back in the UEFA Champions League and for that, they surely need to add some players. The Brazilian defensive midfielder Casemiro has left the club as a free agent. Jadon Sancho and Tyrell Malacia have also left the club.
The departure of Casemiro has created a space for a new midfielder. Initially, there were talks of Atalanta BC’s Ederson joining the club, but recent reports suggest that the deal has fallen through. Instead, Manchester United have gone out and have signed a deal for Andrey Santos from Chelsea. The Brazilian international will join the Red Devils on a £48m plus £2m deal.
Man United might be looking out for some midfielders during this summer transfer window and it will be interesting to see their decisions.
