Manchester United will be locking horns with Tottenham Hotspur for their matchweek six fixture of the English Premier League 2026-27 edition. These clubs are all set to have an intense outing, taking place at Old Trafford.
The Michael Carrick-led side have underperformed in their last three matches. They are coming after getting knocked out of the Carabao Cup and have failed to secure a win in their last two league matches. Ahead of the international window, Manchester United barely managed to secure a draw after Matheus Cunha fired the ball into the back of the net.
Manchester United are going to be the hosts for their next matchup and they must use this to their advantage to get back to winning ways. Manchester United defeated the Spurs last time around and will be looking to do it once again.
Roberto De Zerbi’s men have struggled to secure their first win of the Premier League 2026-27 campaign. In their first five games, they have secured two draws and three losses. This keeps the Lilywhites at the bottom of the league table.
They will now be looking to go for their English top division this season, but it is going to be a tough challenge for them. Tottenham Hotspur continue to put in underwhelming efforts in defence. They must do a lot of hard work in their away game against Man United.
Players to Watch
Bruno Fernandes (Man Utd)
The Portuguese midfielder is going to be one of the main men in the squad for Manchester United. He can establish strong control of the ball and can also break up the plays created by the opponents.
Bruno Fernandes has scored three goals in five Premier League appearances this season and will be looking to add more to his tally.
Savio (Tottenham Hotspur)
The 22-year-old Brazilian winger will be looking to step up his game so that he can help Tottenham Hotspur stand a chance against the Red Devils. Even though he failed to score a goal against Aston Villa, his performance in the attacking front was quite noticeable. Savio created the joint-most chances (4) and had the joint-most touches (8) in the opposition box. He still needs to work on his finishing in front of goal.
