The Red Devils have already played two pre-season matches.

With the first-team players from the World Cup almost ready to return, Manchester United’s pre-season preparations are expected to get even more intense in the upcoming weeks.

Following Manchester United’s 5-0 victory over Rosenborg, attention will now focus on which World Cup players will return to play Atletico Madrid the following weekend.

Tyler Fletcher participated against Wrexham and Rosenborg despite being in the World Cup, but the more experienced players have so far taken the full rest to which they are allowed.

In light of this, all United’s players’ return is approaching, and this is when each of the 11 players is expected to resume training.

Potential return date of Manchester United players from World Cup

  • Altay Bayindir – Returned to training on 27 July
  • Amad – Returned to training on 27 July
  • Matheus Cunha – Eligible for return from July 26th
  • Bruno Fernandes – Eligible for return from July 27th
  • Diogo Dalot – Eligible for return from July 27th
  • Noussair Mazraoui – Eligible for return from July 30th
  • Senne Lammens – Eligible for return from July 31st
  • Youri Tielemans – Eligible for return from July 31st
  • Kobbie Mainoo – Eligible for return from August 8th
  • Marcus Rashford – Eligible for return from August 8th

When will all Man United players who are also injured return?

If everything goes according to plan, Manchester United’s team for the season-opening match against Hull City on August 22nd will be nearly full strength, with possibly a few more signings to come.

With a few weeks to prepare, even players like Marcus Rashford and Kobbie Mainoo ought to be competitive and prepared by the time the real season arrives.

There aren’t many guys that seem doubtful right now.

  • Benjamin Sesko – Shin injury, but expected back by the season start
  • Lisandro Martinez – Injured during World Cup final
  • Youri Tielemans – Injured at World Cup but not expected to be serious
  • Matthijs de Ligt – Recovering from back surgery

How many more pre-season games are left for Manchester United?

They have four more pre-season matches left to play.

When is Manchester United’s first Premier League game?

August 22nd against Hull.
