Marseille welcome Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) to the CEPAC Vélodrome on Sunday, September 20 (BST), in the first Le Classique of the 2026-27 Ligue 1 season. The hosts have endured a difficult start to the campaign, while the latter have also dropped points in their opening four league matches.

Marseille come into the fixture after a 4-1 defeat to Beşiktaş, while the team from Paris recorded a 1-0 win over Brest in their previous league outing. The visitors will be looking to build momentum, but Marseille’s home advantage could make this a competitive encounter.

Amine Gouiri (Marseille)

Gouiri has been Marseille’s standout attacking player in Ligue 1 this season, scoring four goals in four appearances. He also leads the club’s current scoring charts and will be Marseille’s main threat against PSG.

Ferran Torres (PSG)

Torres has scored three goals in four Ligue 1 appearances and was also on target in PSG’s recent 1-0 victory over Brest. His movement through the centre of the attack will be important against Marseille’s defence.
