Mason Mount subbed off with an injury during PSG vs Manchester United pre-season friendly

As Manchester United took on PSG in a pre-season friendly. Not only did the Red Devils concede an early goal, but they also had an injury concern early on.
Mason Mount was forced off with an injury after just 19th minute of the match. He was replaced by youngster Tyler Fletcher.
Mount went off with what looked like a foot injury, but he did manage to jog off. But after a conversation with the medical staff, Mason Mount went down the tunnel.
Mount has featured regularly in pre-season in a deeper role and has impressed a lot. He also looked set to start in the Premier League 2026-27 opener vs Hull City. But this injury is another setback for the England international since joining Man United.
This injury might even force the club back into the transfer market and sign a 3rd midfielder this summer.
