Michael Olise: List of all assists in FIFA World Cup history

Michael Olise completed a brace of assists on his World Cup debut.

Michael Olise is one of the most promising young talents in world football. The 24-year-old Frenchman has solidified his status as one of the top attackers in the last couple of years.

During the 2025/26 campaign with Bayern Munich, Michael Olise made 52 appearances across all competitions, scoring 22 goals and providing 31 assists. He also scored four braces, out of which one came in the UEFA Champions League against Serie A side Atalanta.

Coming into the FIFA World Cup, the 24-year-old Frenchman has continued from where he left off in the club season. Despite making his debut, Olise looks sharp and has shown his attacking prowess, particularly in the first two games of the 2026 campaign.

2026 FIFA World Cup – USA, Canada & Mexico

Assist 1: France 3-1 Senegal

Michael Olise helped France’s captain, Kylian Mbappe, break the deadlock against Senegal by putting a spectacular pass in his way, which the Real Madrid attacker slammed into the goal.

Assist 2: France 3-0 Iraq

Olise’s second assist also came for Kylian Mbappe. He gave a cross to the former PSG side from the right flank, which was aptly netted in the goal by the Les Bleus skipper.

Assist 3: France 3-0 Iraq

Later in the same game, Olise assisted Ousmane Dembélé. Olise slyly passed the ball to the 2025 Ballon d’Or winner.
