Chanmari FC and West coast to victories in Round III of Mizoram Premier League

Chanmari FC and Chanmari West enjoy victories in the Mizoram Premier League, the former leading the table.
Current MPL champions Chanmari FC kicked off round 3 of the Mizoram Premier League in an emphatic manner with a 4-1 win over Mizoram Police FC and moved at the top of the table with seven points.
The newly promoted side drew saves from Chanmari FC's custodian with efforts from F. Lalrinpuia and Lalfakzuala early on in the match.
But the champions then begin to assert their authority in the match as the likes of Vanlalbiaa and first half substitute PC Zosangliana started to run at the Police backline.

Chanmari FC duly got their goal for their endeavors in the first half when skipper Rochhingpuia converted a penalty won by striker Alex Whittemore.
Vanlalbiaa then doubled their lead on the 58th minutes and Joe Zoherliana added a third two minutes later.
MPFC pulled one back through Lalsangbera in the 66th minute but it proved to be just a consolation when Lalmuanzova added a fourth late on.
Chanmari West FC won the second game of Round III of the Mizoram Premier League, played at Lammual, Aizawl on Thursday, 14th September. The game started at 8:00 PM, late, in front of a crowded house and the victors coasted to three points with a goal in the 86th minute. The team is now ranked 5th on the points table.
Last season's semi-finalists Chanmari West FC sealed their first point of MPL6 with a victory over Ramhlun North FC courtesy of a late goal from Lalromawia.
It did not take long for the West Warriors to make their mark on the match when Jacob Lalrawngbawla netted a freekick on the 7th minute. And they almost doubled their lead soon after through Lianzama.
Ramhlun North FC missed a great chance to draw level when Ramdina missed a penalty. But they eventually got their equalizer five minutes later when Remruata took advantage of a defensive error from Hlimtea.

Chanmari West FC went into the second half looking for an equalizer with Jacob Lalrawngbawla and Lianzama missing good opportunities.
And their perseverance paid off when Lalromawia finished off a team move four minutes from time.
Match winner Lalromawia was named the man of the match.
