For the semifinal, the England national football team locked horns with the Argentina national football team at the FIFA World Cup 2026. The high-intensity game took place at the Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta, Georgia, USA.

The fixture started with the Three Lions pressing against the Argentine defence. This effort quite literally kept the defending champions on the edge at all times. Thomas Tuchel’s men kept the pressure on and La Albiceleste came up with some sharp tackles to tone down the English attack.

He was able to bag the assist. The 23-year-old Aston Villa man received a start ahead of Bukayo Saka.
