2. Francisco Trincão — €39m

In a shocking move, Sporting CP’s Francisco Trincão has now joined the Saudi Pro League club Al Ahli. He is a direct replacement for Riyad Mahrez, who left the club at the end of the season. Trincão is a right winger who can also be deployed in the attacking midfield and the left flank.

His performances in the Liga Portugal are known. But will he be able to justify his price tag of €39m in the Saudi top flight?

Crysencio Summerville is now the most expensive signing of the summer 2026 in the Saudi Pro League. Al Hilal were in a tight race alongside AS Roma to bag a deal for the Dutchman. It is now confirmed that the 23-year-old will compete in the Saudi first division.

Al Hilal paid a hefty €70m to the now EFL Championship side West Ham to secure a deal for the Netherlands international.
