The Eagles emerged victorious when these sides last met!
SSC Napoli will be locking horns with SS Lazio for their 11th matchweek contest of the Serie A 2026-27 campaign. The Diego Armando Maradona Stadium is all set to witness this interesting outing.
After their 1-4 loss against FC Porto in the Champions League, Napoli are now on a two-match losing streak. They fell prey to Juventus in their last Italian top-division outing after an underwhelming performance. The Massimiliano Allegri-led team will be eager to get back to winning ways, but the upcoming contest is going to be a tough one for them.
With just four wins in their first 10 league matches, Gli Azzurri are sitting in the 10th spot on the points table. They will be at home for their upcoming contest but are still going to be under pressure due to their current run of form.
On the other hand, SS Lazio are on a flying run of form. They have secured 9 wins in their first 10 Serie A matches this season and are sitting at the top of the league table. Gennaro Gattuso’s men will only be looking to extend their positive run. They have secured a win in all of their away league games this season and have only conceded three goals.
The Eagles will be eager for yet another win and to keep the top spot with themselves. Despite being away from home, they will be fully confident.
Players to Watch
Scott McTominay (Napoli)
Scott McTominay will have a crucial role to play in the Napoli squad. He is an important aspect both in the midfield and on the attacking front for the hosts. The 29-year-old Scottish midfielder was the sole goalscorer in their 1-4 loss against Porto in the Champions League. He will once again be looking to step up his game so that he can help his side get back to winning ways in the Italian top division.
Gustav Isaksen (Lazio)
The 25-year-old has five goal contributions in the last five matches for SS Lazio. He is in great touch at the moment and will be eager to display another top performance. Gustav Isaksen has scored 4 goals and provided an assist in 10 Serie A matches this season. With his current run of form, he is going to be a constant threat to the opponent’s defence.
