Mumbai FC host Aizawl FC in a fascinating I--League clash at Cooperage Ground on Sunday.
The hosts who revamped their squad before the new campaign started the season impressively under manager Santosh Kahyap, with two wins in two games. That, before they were thumped 3-0 by reigning champions Bengaluru FC in their last outing.
Visitors Aizawl FC themselves, have been a surprise pacage of the season and are unbeaten after seven points from three games.The game also marks the return of former Mumbai manager Khalid Jamil, who switched clubs in the summer.
Team News
Defender Allan Dias has missed the start of the season with injury and continues to be unavailable ahead of this one. The Mumbaikars have also signed Trinidad and Tabago midfielder Densill Theobald and Brazilian attacker Santana.
Aizawl have no injuries and Jamil has a fully fit squad to pick from.

Steven Dias-Mumbai FC: The experienced midfielder has been one of the standout players for Mumbai this season. The former India international has brought all his experience into play and has emerged as the creative ace for the Mumbaikars. With his range of passing and the ability to produce the final ball he's an asset for any team. He may not be getting any younger but the playmaker will remain a key cog in the Mumbai ranks for the rest of the season.
Mahmoud Al Amnah-Aizawl FC: The midfielder has been one of the best players in the early part of the season and has emerged as a talisman for an Aizawl outfit that is a nice blend of youth and experience under the new manager. The Syrian midfielder was once again a key orchestrator in the win against Shillong Lajong. He will look to continue his fine form and propel his team to another win.
