Dembélé has six World Cup goals in his career.

The 2026 FIFA World Cup is currently underway with nations competing for the ultimate glory, giving rise to some of the most memorable moments in the tournament’s history. From favourites failing to meet expectations to nations like Cape Verde being part of unforgettable outings, the competition has etched itself in World Cup deep culture.

The France national football team will be entering the competition as one of the major favourites after exceptional outings in the next two editions, winning the competition in 2018 and finishing as runners-up in 2022.

Ousmane Dembélé will be one of the key attacking talents of France in recent years. Known for his explosive pace, elite dribbling, and clinical finishing, Dembélé has been a mainstay under Didier Deschamps. After an incredible season with PSG, the player is expected to win his second consecutive Ballon d’Or if France manages to secure their third World Cup title.
