The PFA Awards for 2026 were distributed to each winner, with Bruno Fernandes winning the PFA Players’ Player of the Year.
The top footballers in England from the Premier League, the EFL Championship, League One and Two, the Women’s Super League (WSL), and the Women’s Super League 2 for the 2025–26 season were honoured and celebrated at the 53rd annual Professional Footballers’ Association (PFA) Awards, which took place on Tuesday night at the Manchester Opera House in Manchester.
The players actively vote for the awards, which include Player of the Year, Young Player of the Year, and Team of the Year.
After receiving the men’s and women’s Player of the Year awards on Tuesday, Manchester United skipper Bruno Fernandes and Manchester City attacker Khadija “Bunny” Shaw were among the top winners at the 2026 Professional Footballers’ Association Awards.
Olivia Smith of Arsenal was awarded the women’s Young Player of the Year, while Nico O’Reilly of Manchester City was selected as the men’s Young Player of the Year.
Famous former Liverpool boss Sir Kenny Dalglish and former England international Karen Carney also received PFA Merit Awards at the event.
