Born in Manipur, Singh started his career with the AIFF Elite Academy before being part of a group of players from the academy who were sent to train in France with FC Metz. In May 2016, Singh was a part of the AIFF Elite Academy players that were signed by Chennaiyin FC. After the end of Hero ISL 2016, Singh was sent on loan to Minerva Punjab where he started in a 0-0 draw against DSK Shivajians in the Hero I-League. He was a part of the Chennaiyin B squad in 2017-18 and made a substitute appearance in the Hero Super Cup.
