Rafael Lopez Gomez, also known as Rafa, is a Spanish defender. The 32-year-old started his youth career in Spain with Real Valladolid. He climbed through the ranks at Valladolid, playing for their B team and then going on to play for their senior squad. He was loaned to SD Eibar in 2005. In 2008, he moved to the Spanish side Getafe, making 122 appearances for them before returning to Real Valladolid in 2016.
