These players made scoring hat-tricks their routine.

For some people, at least, scoring a hat-trick is extremely difficult. Some of the best attackers in the beautiful game never score three goals in a single game throughout their whole careers. On the other hand, some players make scoring hat-tricks seem effortless.

Cristiano Ronaldo is a good example; during his brilliant career, the renowned Portuguese player has made scoring hat-tricks seem effortless. Since making his professional debut, he has carried the game ball home several times, and now that he is in his forties and working outside of Europe, he continues to add to his total.

Let’s examine the six men who have scored three goals in a single game the most frequently in the 21st century. A number of contemporary luminaries are on this list.

6. Erling Haaland: 27

The fact that a 26-year-old has more hat-tricks in his career than some of the best attackers of this century is absurd. Erling Haaland may end up with three times as many career hat-tricks as he does now by the time he finishes his career. With eight Premier League trebles already, the Norwegian marksman’s potential is virtually limitless. For Norway, he already has six.

5. Harry Kane: 30

It seemed inevitable that Tottenham’s all-time top scorer and England’s all-time top scorer would be listed among these guys. It is remarkable that Harry Kane, who is just 33 years old and still playing, has scored more hat-tricks than players of the calibre of Aguero, Gomez and Huntelaar, who have all retired from the game.

4. Luis Suárez: 31

Because Lionel Messi stole so much of the limelight during their time at Barcelona, Luis Suárez is often overlooked for the goal scorer he was. His career total of 31 hat-tricks demonstrates his skill in front of goal. Along with his exceptional technical skills and winning mentality, he scored a lot of goals while playing for Ajax, Liverpool, and Barcelona.

He is still playing and has the opportunity to add a few more trebles to his MLS total with Inter Miami, just like a few other players on the list.

3. Robert Lewandowski: 35

With five Bundesliga trebles in a single season, Robert Lewandowski shares the record with Mario Gomez. In addition, the Polish attacker has scored a treble in the Champions League for three separate teams: Borussia Dortmund, Bayern Munich, and Barcelona. With 312 goals, he is the second-highest goal scorer in Bundesliga history, only surpassed by the great Gerd Muller.

2. Lionel Messi: 62

It must be acknowledged that 62 hat-tricks are an extraordinary achievement, yet the player who scored 91 goals in a single calendar year must settle for just second place on this list. Over the years, Lionel Messi has been a pleasure to watch, and numbers like these have practically become the standard. However, for a player who played on the right flank for the majority of his career, scoring three goals in 61 separate games is amazing.

1. Cristiano Ronaldo: 67

Cristiano Ronaldo has been able to maintain a healthy lead over his fiercest rival. The fact that he spent several years as the primary striker may have contributed to his five more hat-tricks, most of which came for Los Blancos, but regardless of how you look at it, the Portuguese international has won this title.

It is also not surprising because Ronaldo is the greatest goal scorer of all time and will try to score 1,000 goals in the latter years of his career with Al Nassr.
